This post has nothing at all to do with EVE Online. So, if you're not interested, you can click away now. I figure, maybe some people might want to know a slight bit more about me, what makes me tick, see what sorts of interests I might have outside of EVE Online. Give a fuller picture to Poetic Stanziel.
This won't be particularly wordy. I'm just gonna list a bunch of different topics, either give a Top 3 list to go with it, or a short sentence or three where a list isn't applicable. The lists aren't in any particular order.

If I've forgotten a list that you'd like to see, mention it in the comments and I'll add it to this post.

Dude, that profile is eerily similar to my own... wonder how many other Eve bloggers are the same?
ReplyDeleteAre you my alt?
DeleteI have so many ticks in that list... LOL even Delphi which I used a lot back in the day (Ruby FTW atm though).
ReplyDeleteYou're a man of taste and quality, then.
DeleteGood lord, someone who has Battle Athletes in their top list besides me?!
ReplyDeleteThat takes me back..
It's funny as hell, and a pretty good story. I just took a chance, many years ago, and ordered the entire set. Was very pleased. Have watched it a few times since.
DeleteBro do you even lift?
ReplyDeleteWow. Other than The Black Company, Firefly, and EVE Online we have NOTHING in common in that entire list.
ReplyDeleteAlso, you don't look anything like you sound, or I imagined. Go figure. lol.
Funny how that works, huh?
What did you imagine?
DeleteOlder. I dunno. Definitely NOT a college-age-looking Ian Malcolm. lol ;-)
DeleteTaro is fantastic. They do it in milk tea near my house and I've had a taro pudding that was to die for.
ReplyDeleteTaro chips are amazing too.
Deletesuprised you watch anime but death note isnt in the list
ReplyDeletedidnt watch it or just didnt like it?
I haven't followed new releases in several years. But I'll wikipedia it, and maybe find a torrent if it sounds appealing.
Deletelol PHP.
ReplyDeleteIn my head you were older. Funny how written perceptions have little to do with reality sometimes.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwww Poe is a cutiepie♥ Who knew?
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! You're a hipster. :O
ReplyDeleteI'm about as far from being a hipster as I am from being black.
DeleteHahaha, just poking fun man. Great blog.
ReplyDeleteRe: Top SciFi novel series -> Perry Rhodan.
ReplyDeleteGerman series. Published since 1961 with over 2500 books in the series. Nothing else even comes close. According to Wikipedia, over 1 billion copies have been sold worldwide, making it the most successful sci-fi book series ever written.
Unfortunately, only about 100 books got translated to English, and they went out-of-print many years ago. You can still find them, however, at used bookstores and on eBay.
This is space sci-fi at its very finest. Comparing the size and scope of the Perry Rhodan universe to any other sci-fi universe is like comparing an ocean to a puddle. And, this is coming from someone who is an avid hardcore sci-fi book reader - from E.E. "Doc" Smith and H. Beam Piper to Frank Herbert, Isaac Asimov and Neal Stephenson.
That sounds pretty damned cool. Wish I could sprechen sie Deutsche.
