I made it barely onto the top ten kill list for Fweddit. But only after awoxing three of my peoples. Go go Shoemaker-Levy (my Federation Navy Comet.)

I lost 630M ISK in ships during September. A new record. I am so very terrible. I am going to try extra hard to get more kills in October with less ISK lost.

Caldari finally cashed out. I must say I was fretting up a storm that they might never get around to it. I had 2.1M LP to get rid of. Today it happened. Caldari finally made the push.
Of course, I feel like I can never have enough money (I'm the Mitt Romney of Fweddit), but I will try hard not to orbit a button again for the rest of the year.

Freighter losses from the Caldari cashout are already appearing. Nobody from Fweddit has made the dufus list. Yet. (I think they all learned from the last cashout.) All my implants are on their way to Jita, via Push Industries. Just like I've suggested. It's insurance!

It has finally been determined that Susan Black was/is none other than Zeric Serain and Mary Titor. It was Susan who first proposed that Mary might be Ripard, but that never made much sense (why would Ripard spend 17 pages talking about faction warfare and how to revamp it?). But it was a clever bit of misdirection, especially with the overuse of footnotes. Congrats to Susan for glowingly self-referencing herself across two sockpuppet blogs.

To extrapolate is to infer beyond known data points. The interpolate is the infer between known data points. For someone who's so steeped in numbers, you'd think she'd know the difference.

If you're new to EVE Online or want to give faction warfare a try, then consider Fweddit. It's super-relaxed and nobody screams at you when you do terrible things with your ships or your fittings. People will help, if they notice stuff (e.g., your killmails) or if you ask, but nobody is going to get all Makalu or Ka Pow Pow on your ass. We're just a bunch of chills guys (and one gal) just having fun with the game and fun on comms.

I've just learned that I really like flying Drakes. I suppose I have until December to enjoy them. Before those heavy missile launcher changes come into effect.

If CSM7 or the Minmatar Militia would like to sponsor Fweddit into the EVE Online Cash-Money Tournament, please contact me, Rina Kondur or Bob FromMarketing. We could name the team either the CSM7 Cesiums or the Minmatar Manglers. Because alliteration is cool.

I'm looking for a FW corp at the moment. Are there Fweddit people on pretty much around the clock? I'd be playing around Aussie primetime, and while there don't have to be a ton of people on during that time in order for a corp to be a good fit, I wouldn't want it to be a ghost town either.
ReplyDeleteThere are people on at all times ... though obviously a bit meager at AUZ times.
DeleteThere is a really good Amarr Australian TZ corp called Black Watch Guard.
You might want to try Fweddit, get the hang of things, then get in contact with BWG afterwards.
Ah, nevermind. I don't have a one month old Reddit account. Not sure I want to wait around for a month just to join.
DeleteIt's not a strict requirement. Talk to someone in Fweddit and they can sponsor you, iirc.
DeleteWith that much LP, are you doing mostly plexes or do you do missions? Just wandering what's more lucrative. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI just orbited buttons, because I could mostly AFK that while doing other stuff. But missions get you more LP per hour. I think they're both hugely boring, so I'd rather do the boring task I can AFK.
DeleteI had no idea that EVE was actually Mafia Scum. For the record, I do not blog or post under any name but my own.
ReplyDeleteI'm not getting the "Mafia Scum" reference?
DeleteFor Aussie TZ if you're into fighting I would recommend Agony Unleashed. If Plexing is more your thing BWG is probably the second most active in Oz TZ.
DeleteIf Susan and I are the same person, we have some serious split personality issues to work through.
ReplyDeleteI kept meaning to ask and forgetting, by the way.
ReplyDeleteWhy did anyone, ever, think I could be Ripard Teg, Susan Black or Zeric Sarain for that matter? I'm quite curious to see the arguments used to support any of these associations. :)
(And "Mafia Scum" is a web community devoted to the "Mafia" party game, the core of which is determining which of the other players are "mafia members" secretly killing other players. Incidentally, a Russian invention, and one of the games I'm completely incapable of playing offline because of the reliance on nonverbal cues.)
